The 2026 edition will be online.
These are the following dates*:
Session 1 | June
The programme will open with an online kick-off meeting.
This will be followed by an intensive first phase delivered across two consecutive three-day periods (Thursday to Saturday).
Each group will work for four hours per day, with a mix of group and individual meetings.
Dates:
- June 10: 9:00 – 12:00 CEST | Kick-off meeting
- June 11, 12, 13: 9:00 – 13:30 or 14:00 – 18:30** CEST (including break)
- June 18, 19, 20: 9:00 – 13:30 or 14:00 – 18:30** CEST (including break)
*The sessions will be held in the morning or afternoon, depending on what times accommodate the varying locations of each group’s participants.
** Daily working hours are indicative. Minor adjustments to session timing may be made at group level and will be confirmed in advance.
Session 2 | September
The second session will take place over a three-day period (Thursday to Saturday) and will consist of daily four-hour sessions combining group work and individual meetings.
Dates:
- September 17, 18, 19: 9:00 13:30 or 14:00 – 18:30** CEST (including break)

Session 3 | December
The final session will take place over three days (Thursday to Saturday), with daily four-hour group and individual meetings.

APPLICATION & TUITION FEES
When is the deadline for the application?
- For applicants with a project, the deadline is April 15, 2026. The deadline applies to all three labs.
- For story editor trainees the deadline is also April 15, 2026.
When will I learn if my project has been accepted?
- The selected participants will be notified in mid-May 2026.
What is the maximum number of pages for the treatment?
- The treatment may range from 10 to 20 pages at most.
What is the maximum number of pages for the synopsis?
- The synopsis should not exceed 2 pages.
What is the LOI?
- The Letter of Interest (2 pages maximum) serves as a comprehensive artistic statement from the applicant, offering insight into their creative vision, goals, and artistic intentions. It provides a platform for the applicant to articulate their work’s conceptual and thematic underpinnings, explaining what drives their creativity and what they aim to achieve through their artistic endeavors. Additionally, the letter is an opportunity for the applicant to detail how their specific project aligns with the goals and objectives of the program they are applying to. It highlights the mutual benefits of the collaboration, showcasing how the program’s resources, mentorship, or community can support the project’s development while emphasizing the value their work can bring to the program.
How much is tuition?
- Application fee: €60
- €2,500 per project (covering participation of scriptwriters, directors, and producers attached to the project)
- The fees for story editor trainees are €2000.
What is the deadline for tuition fees payment?
- We kindly ask that you proceed with the tuition fee payment by the beginning of June at the latest.

In what language will the program be held? Does the same language apply to the application?
- The application must be written in English, as the entire program will be conducted exclusively in English.
