Story Editor Trainees

In all labs (Feature film, Series, Doc) there is a position of a story editor trainee in every writers’ room.
These are industry professionals without a project, who wish to develop their skills in a practical environment.
Trainees are assigned the role of “assistant trainer” and act effectively
as co-leaders of the writers’ rooms, honing their skills under
the guidance of senior trainers.

Three On-line Sessions

Session 1 | June
June 10: 9:00 – 12:00 CEST | Kick-off meeting
June 11, 12, 13: 9:00 – 13:30 or 14:00 – 18:30 CEST (including break)
June 18, 19, 20: 9:00 – 13:30 or 14:00 – 18:30 CEST (including break)

Session 2 | September
September 17, 18, 19: 9:00 13:30 or 14:00 – 18:30 CEST (including break)

Session 3 | December

December 10, 11 & 12: 9:00 13:30 or 14:00 – 18:30** CEST (including break)

 

*The sessions will be held in the morning or afternoon, depending on what times accommodate the varying locations of each group’s participants.

** Daily working hours are indicative. Minor adjustments to session timing may be made at group level and will be confirmed in advance.

Group sessions (writer’s rooms) in script development (all labs)
Following senior trainers in script development in individual consultations with projects’ authors (all labs) 
Specialized sessions on the task of the story editor
Lectures/masterclasses/Q&A sessions

All industry capacities welcome
Focus on capacities where project evaluation & development is key
